Description
My favourite cosplay group of all time. We spent months building Hack and Slash. Mahato-Shey designed Hack, Slash, and Megabyte's head and everyone in the group helped paper mache and paint them. We created an amazing skit where the group won Best in Show at Anime North 2012.See the the skit here, audio isn't the greatest

This makes me so gloriously happy! I LOVE that you have Hack and Slash. And the skit was fantastic. It was hard to hear but all that you need to hear is the ending, which was PURE GENIUS! And I love that Hexadecimal actually changed faces. Fantastic job to the whole group.

*sigh* wish I could do stuff like this! I'm trying to earn some monies so I can make costumes (AndrAIa, pedobear, Marceline the Vampire Queen, ect.) and go to Kami-con next February as one. Cool thing about the Marceline one is that all I really need is to talk my parents into getting me a new long grey tank top and save up for some red boots (when I'll probably skip that and just wear my black ones), buy some fangs and I can wear that much of the costume to school! I'd do it on Halloween though. I'd borrow my dad's guitar (he doesn't have any bass ones) and put red marks on my neck when we leave to go trick-or-treating. My parents think I am getting too old for it, but as I so helpfully pointed out, none of my friends throw Halloween parties and most of them STILL go trick-or-treating even though some are older than me...

yeah, it's really fun and i love to see the looks on people's faces when it happens somewhere random lol at the '10 kami-con, on the way to it we stopped at a gas station an the only one who wasn't dressed up was tali and me and my other friend had to pull her into the bathroom so she'd get dressed for it XD the people there were staring at us like WTH is going on???

As the creator of Slack & Hash's Domain, I've seen a lot of ReBoot cosplays, and this is the best group I've seen so far. Hack & Slash put it right over the top. Great work!

Alphanumeric! I love the fact that, even today, ReBoot still has a dedicated following. You guys did a kickass job!
If only it could be (at least) aired on TV again so the younglings of today can see the awesomeness of Mainframe... But at least the entire series is on YouTube!

I'm a die-hard ReBoot fan so I knew one day I had to do this. And yes, lots of the young ones don't know the amazing-ness of ReBoot, it's so sad ;__ ;

Nowadays, it seems like we're lucky if a show has any high-stakes that are half as high as ReBoot's Season 3 conclusion (From episode "Megaframe" to end).
"Oh, I'm sorry. We can't have the bad guy take over/destroy the heroes' hometown. That's not a good lesson for today's kiddies! We can have the entire planet be under a threat. It's common, basic, and doesn't show anything significant! Kids can understand basic and they won't be traumatized!" Epic fail, politically correct TV execs! Lol.

Y'know, the reason they were able to go so dark in Season 3 is because ABC dropped the show. They were the ones with the intrusive censorship. (YTV and Cartoon Network didn't care, on the other hand.)

Considering that the show is of Canadian origin, one has to not be surprised that an American network has to play the "stuffy old prude" card. (Personally, I find it very odd that US media tends to somehow, some way, be both pro and anti-censorship! "Think of the children...but Jersey Shore's ok!" "Ew, sex is nasty, let's show more decapitations instead!"
