Description
I wanted to do something cute and girly with Princess Serenity, something where she is behaving like a regular teenage girl. So I took inspiration from episode 19 of Sailor Moon when Usagi thought she had gotten a love letter from Tuxedo Mask. In the original anime, we do see Prince Endymion in most of the Tuxedo Mask costume (minus the hat) in the flashback episode, so I figured it would be cute if he had drawn a little Tuxedo Mask emblem on the back of the letter.

It took me a while to decide how to draw her bedroom. For the walls, decorative columns seemed appropriate for the time period in which she lived on the Moon, but for the bed sheets, I thought a pastel periwinkle version of Usagi's bunny sheets would be cute. I chose the pastels because in the manga, every time we see Princess Serenity, her hair is way lighter, so it's my little nod to that. Of course, the Earth is shining brightly through the window.
