Just today I finished reading 'The Call of Cthulhu' and this image is the only one that comes close to how I imagined him. Great work!

Cthulu reaches for the alarm clock. "Just five more millenia," he thinks. But the clock has been moved to the other side of the temple. "Shudde M'ell," he thinks, "Damn squid bastard. You and your damn pranks. I ought to make one o' them dreamcatchers out of your tentacles." But he is still too groggy to really get angry about it.
As Chtulu fhtagns, he realizes that he is sleeping under water. Squishily, he rises from his prone position. "F***in' A! Did the continent sink, or something?"
A manta ray, hideously deformed by its proximity to the Great Old One, swims to his fifth quadrant piercing tentacle, and latches on to it with a long, jagged-toothed probiscis. "Oh, hey, little guy!" says Cthulu. (The city of London erupts in flames.) "Aren't you cute?" (A woman in Iowa gives birth to a two-headed cow.)
Cthulu strokes his new pet with a stray tentacle, looking around his Temple, and yawning. "I hope the coffee pot hasn't been ruined by all this water." he says to no one in particular. (Sydney, Australia, is attacked by a swarm of winged, blood-sucking frog-creatures.)

no problem, maybe because i work mainly as colorist (and people always like more my colors) that i found good drawings something out of my reach (yeah IMO i suck at drawing)
I hate the obvious comments like "this remind me of" but, you have the same spice that make Guy Davis' work delicious. but in a more realistic way.
