Description
Nothing is more effective against an artblock than drawing one's OTP. I enjoyed every minute of it, the details were really fun. The lineart turned out to my liking so I didn't want to weaken it with saturated colors, therefore I used only greys.Thanks for NightysWolf for the Reference , although I changed the partner, and therefore I needed to modify the pose a bit too (hence Yazoo is taller)
What is happening here, there are so many possibilities. ^^ I enjoyed guessing. Perhaps Yazoo kept teasing Cloud until he had enough and now he tries to make him stop. Yazoo's smug smile shows that Cloud is acting just like Yazoo wanted him to.

This is the kind of drawing you can stay looking at for hours and don't get tired... It tells a different story each time. I love the way Yazoo is letting Cloud corner him without defending himself, approaching his head, provocative. Great job with the clothes details and their looks. Love itΒ Β

From all drawings you've ever done on your OTP, I really love this one. It's like Yazoo is enjoying this whole display of Cloud trying to act all toughy roughy with him.Β
On technical sides of things:
1) the style is very refined. No overused lines of clothing or shading. Some parts have thicker lines that collide well with thin ones creating perfect balance.
2) details of clothing... A lot of times, I've noticed, people overlook one small detail on all Shinentai (I will specifically use this word only on your deviantations): they have "X" shaped straps for holding down shoulder pads (which also aren't free, they are strapped down in front and in back), so the extra shading done for the strap was a welcoming sight for me. (yes, i nitpick A-F-ING-LOT). I also loving the fact that you put clean seams for each "line" on clothes. Not everyone does that.
This, overall, looks so simple, yet, SO REFINED that I was goggling at this for a while. I love this one.

I like clear linearts, and coloring tends to weaken the effect of lines. Plus, if I start to do the seams, I can hardly stop.
Cloud is in fact acting (sort of) tough here, but it's more of a battle of glances, and we can know in advance who wins. (Both of them, of course.)
I'm glad you like this piece, I tried to keep it as clean as possible.

I don't want to fall into the trap like most 'artists' do, expecting more and more and thinking it's never enough. ^^ Feedback is nice and motivating, but the nicest thing is drawing something, ehehe.

I believe, nicest thing is when someone else says something that truly resembles your inner thoughts that ran through your head whilst creating something (and you couldn't exactly express that feeling through words until that one commentator did it for you).
A side note: you're not naive enough to fall under that category, so, I still believe you could use some more fans who like your viewpoint.
