Isn't he such a doll? xDTsubasa, my little chinese curtisan who tends to be connected in Yakuza. An rpg character of mine. His face always looks like that, blank, because he never shows his emotions trough his face, nor does he speak much.
When hes 18, he will be married to one of the leader heads in Yakuza as a gift and a peacemaker between two mafias. ( this is hard to explain, since I have just woked up from my day nap and I suck at english xDD I'll write a better description later when I'm more wake up @w@;; )
Anyway, this was a really quick drawing and I hate the picture many ways, although I like his face. That is the only part of this what I like..and the moon what was a crappy result from hurry hurry mode of mine. >w>;;

I like how you did the coloring. I can't explain it, but it's like some soft cell shading or what not. I love his expression, or lack of, and how his eyes seem to be beady black dots. And the way you did the kimono is very nice.

Actually i really like the moon. and the background. even if you don't.
I realised the other day why i like my pencil work more than my inked work. The hard lines of the pen don't look as good as the pencil does when it comes to the shading or places like the bridge of the nose which aren't in reality a line.. but more of a shape defined by shading. My point is that i really love how, with your colors , you defined alot of the shapes like the collar bone and nose bridge. It's really awesome.
I need to regain my faith in photoshop's coloring abilities and start practicing again. Maybe one day i'll be as great as you.

Hot damn! That's gorgeous! Love the coloring, stunning...kinda a mix of cel shading, gradients and painting...very original. Even if it's a quickie, you should develop that style...looks relly good IMO
