Γy wΓΆy what a dramatic title xDD Ignore it.I wanted to try something black and white, try my skills on b&w picture and how I can manage to do the shadows on person's face, when toning and different colour lights on the face isn't possible.
I dunno, I think I managed to do it well, and I didn't have any big problems. Yay!
The guy on the picture is my RPG character Toda. He is really quiet and intependent, but mostly kinda aggressive to his boyfriend who likes to cling on his lap every time he has a change. And Toda mostly gets annoyed by that. he has a short temperature, but mostly he keeps his mouth shut and he doesn't want to get inside any fighting. You can see Toda in my gallery, mostly in my oldest picture submits. ^^
Mediums: HB pencil, Black permanent marker, and Photoshop on the flat colour. Everything else is hand made ^^V

Very nice BnW usage, gives a sunset /dawn looking, maybe I was influenced by the title tho. The very black of his hair makes his eye stand out somehow it's nice, he realy seems to have a solid caracter. Strangely enought, I like his shoe best *_* dunno, but close0up to shoes always did this to me

gah sorry for my late comment :3 but i really like this pic... you did an awesome job just using the black and white with this.. it's really striking and gorgeous. actually, my favorite thing is how many different textures you managed to achieve with this.. the fuzz on his lapels, the grain of the wood, all those lovely folds in the outfit.. really beautiful. i would adore having this as a poster

I like the subject, man love. And I think males are really beautiful, in what way you look at them. Females are often looked in the beauty section, because their curves and such...males don't have much body curves, but many other things which makes the beautiful. That's why I draw males, as other people likes to draw females. Of course, females are too beautiful, but I think, males are even more. Well, that's just my opinion, but it's a opinion that I like, and a subject what I love to draw. I draw what I feel like, and that's why I draw males. ^^
And no, it's his leg. It's not his hand. >>; Why would I draw a shoe in his hand, I wonder? xDD Don't you? And well, where does shoes come from? Eh?

shoes come from cows... ground up cows.. well haha if you liuke manlove... then more power too you, i guess i can see where youre coming from, me being a hetero male, im more attracted too females so i see them as the "more beautiful" creature, i kind of think men are disgusting, being egotistical and dirty and all sorts of lovely stereotypes, but the human body is an amazing work of art in itself... btw, i really like your icon

OOuuuuu awesome! Very dramatic and smooth... The only crit I have is that the arm, though not in a *wrong* position, might look better edged over farther to the left (his right arm). Right now it's kind of coincident with the leg, and so it almost looks as though his arm is stretched out, and turns into a shoe ^^ (or he has a shoe on his hand

Great composition, you only used paralel lines and shadows, and you made a whole setting.
The shadows on clothes are spetacular, same as the fur, looks completely professional. You can surely manage the inks!

I absolutely love the way you've drawn and inked this picture; the lights and the shadows are just in their right places and the mood of the picture is mainly created by that sharp contrast.
Also, his pose and the way you've managed to place the shadows so that they the pose is more 'clear' is great.
