Description My 68th EUIV run: Delhi.

While I could have taken Sirhind for a much easier start, I decided to go the hard way, mostly because I have reserved it for Sirhind -> Delhi -> Hindustan run.

Just like in my previous campaign with Novgorod, but now with Delhi, it gets conquered in 9/10 runs, so I was already prepared for a hard start. What mostly gave me victory was the stupidity of the AI. Before the event fired, I secured alliances with Nagaur and Sindh. While we won the first battle, there was no way to destroy Sirhind's army completely as it retreated behind its forts. So I had to do a very risky strategy and hope for the best. I started sieging their forts, while Sirhind went for Sindh. I managed to capture one of their forts, but Sindh peaced out. They came back with their army, I thought I was screwed, but instead of relieving their besieged fortress, they went to Nagaur instead. Before they finished it, I managed to occupy all of their land and annex them.
The next challenge was dealing with Jaunpur and Multan. The first step was to make an alliance with Bengal and wait for the right moment. In the meantime, I managed to snatch my core from Kashmir before the Timurids take it. Since they also posed a serious threat, I supported Transoxiania's independence. Now when it comes to Multan and Jaunpur, I decided to attack the former first, because Jaunpur had strong allies like Chagatai and the Timurids, whom I just had defeated. It was a hard fight, but I forced Jaunpur to break a couple of its alliances, while I fully annexed Multan.
After my truce had ended with Jaunpur, I retook my cores from them. From this moment I was sure that my campaign would be successful, even though Bengal decided to desire my provinces and broke the alliance without even bordering me. So after finishing off Jaunpur, my next target became Bengal and then Malwa and Vijayanagar until I reached the Southern tip of India.
