Watercolours, black watercolour pencil; approx A3.Made for the PaintPhotoChallenge group. The lovely ref photo was taken by TokyoMoonlight .
I'm out of masking liquid so I struggled with the tree trunks a bit. I'm not that handy with masking tape

Hmm, thanks! What can I say. I painted this after sundown in artificial light. The dreary result perhaps echoes the impenetrable darkness here this winter, it totally weights down one's heart as well.

Well, since I've discovered that such thing even exists, I'm keen to learn how to use it. But I've been out of the stuff for months now.. The bottle wasn't even empty, but the cap broke and could no longer be opened.

I use it from time to time, but the lines aren't soft, it's like I would use a ruler
But in certain situations it's quite useful
