Zira and Ondoka means "leave".

Ondoka is Kovu's father in my version, he is Amani's son with a lion named Msaliti.

Zira really had an affection for Ondoka, but after she found out he was a relative of Scar she completely forgot about him, in her mind she thought
it was Scar sent her to take revenge for his death. Zira becomes pregnant with him and puts her plan into action eliminate everything Simba loved and
take the Pride Lands. After the failure of his plan Zira tries to get Ondoka to join her, but he refuses accusing her of having been used by her,
he runs away from the Pride Lands and is never again. seen, some rumors arrived at Mountain Pride(former pride of Ondoka) said that he had joined
another distant pride and had married and had cubbies, but no one knows if it is true or not.

This is my little theory of when Nuka says that "kovu was not Scar's son" and Kovu also affirms this, it is a very interesting point in the TLK universe
"who is Kovu's father?" I also think that Zira wouldn't relate to any lion just to have an "heir" to Scar, so someone with his blood would be a better
option even if he's a distant relative.

I think that thing about Zira saying that Kovu is chosen by Scar may have been something in her head(because it looks like Kovu was born after Scar's death).
It's just my personal opinion and my theory.
