Just some coloring practice - I've got a new book on coloring on the way, and I'm trying to "shake the rust off" my basic Photoshop abilities before I try out anything new.

The lineart itself is nothing special, although it did amuse me - it came from a discussion where members of our adventuring group were considering what our Pathfinder characters were like when they weren't off fighting ogres and slogging their way through monster-haunted wilderness. At first I considered Berendal to be the typical "always on guard, never relaxes" type rogue, but that sounded pretty boring, and didn't really fit with her goal of accumulating wealth and enjoying it (and, well, rubbing it in peoples' faces). So I changed course, and decided that Berendal would enjoy her other favorite past time, denial, and celebrate like she's not the sort of person who could be ambushed by assassins or dragons or dark elves, like a typical PC would. I also figured that she'd dress in such a way to try and avoid paying for much herself - at least until her abrasive personality was revealed (she's working on that, still).

I'm getting closer and closer to getting her hair right, at least. If she makes it to the end of the campaign I might even succeed entirely...
