The extreme intensity of the look is stunning ! So many things behind... So many dreams and skies lacerated... So many cherished icons defiled and desecrated... And yet the will stronger than the fall, stronger than renunciation...
At least that's what I see. But maybe it's just what I would have put, myself, in such a look. What my eyes put in those eyes... Anyway...

About the "sense" that you've mentioned ...
personally for me this photo session was not just the embodiment of any kind of image alone, but rather an expression of the feelings that I went through.
As far as "pain in my eyes" ...
I know what it means to be in extreme pain. But nothing is meant to remain forever and so did the pain ceased already...
I want to thank you for such a well-rounded comment. I am very pleased that my photo moved you, and evoke such emotions.
When I read such commentary, I know that I am doing it for a purpose.

Aye, pain comes and goes...events in life come and we react but then we begin to deal. I don't really believe in the term "time heals all wounds", future events open up old wounds.
