I just read your journal, by the way, and I'm sorry to hear about your encounter with the evil cosmic forces of work-negation. I've had my fair share of computer/software crashes and various liquids spilled on finished pictures, although my favourite just might be the time my cat actually threw up on a picture ("wow, didn't think it was that bad"). (...Yeah, cats are universally hazardous to art.)
I also know the feeling of how the re-do is never as good as the original, but I've got to say, sometimes at least, it only feels that way because the redoing is such a pain. It won't be the same, but if you make a new version based on what you remember you liked about the original, you'll end up with a final product filtered of the things that would have bothered you and seemed unnecessary later when you notice them.
I should reread Shudder sometime, I remember really liking it.

Gods, you're SO GREATXDDDD I drooled on every comics' page shading LITERALLY *wipes the screen* You make it so great with graphics and details I really would buy your stuff it it was aviable in shops even if I could read it online. You're simply turning me into fan of your artstyle. So sneaky!XD
Anyway, I'm not entierly sure if I like your grayscale or if I tend toward more of your colourings... both are good I guess *though I found it off that everytime I looked at the pages Gaara was... greyXD I guess it's because I'm used to seeing him full color by youXD*
I love how you planned out the action of the story - for such a rare occassion of drawing Tsuchikage he came out greatly and gods, did I laugh when it turned out to be how it turned out! *no spoilers for those who haven't read it yetXD* If I ccould I would give this ten favs just for that single pageXD You surely know how to do comicsXD Can't wait for the second one, I expect it will be just as goodX3 And this is going to my favs entirelyX3

I like my Naruto fanart better in colour, too, but greyscale is how I like to do comics, so one had to be compromised.

I can't tell you what I love the most because everything is there to love, but Gaara's demented expression in the pic you used here for preview purposes is simply awesome in all it's delightful disturbingness.

Mindless cooing is an underappreciatedly eloquent compliment.
I haven't read the spoilers, but I suspect Naruto is currently angsting so hard in canon that he could use a glimpse to a peaceful future where his and Gaara's biggest worries are coming up with the most absurd ways to maintain a relationship, too.
