A comic about Naruto and Gaara being Naruto/Gaara, based on a fanfic written by .THE COMIC IS HERE , on the same index page as my previous one .

No more of a really shitty joke... My wayΒ of dealing with living what many would consider "an unconventional lifestyle" is to make jokes about it. I grew up in a conservative, strongly Christian family that say they support gays and lesbians, but in reality lookΒ down onΒ them as being less than human. I've never really been able to open up to them about many aspects of my life, my sexuality included.
In any case, my joke was insensitive and tasteless. It was completelyΒ uncalled for and that is not the type of person I am nor the type of person I want others to think of me as. And for that I am deeply, and truly, sorry.

Thank you for owning up to your mistake. I do understand your situation very well, I grew up much the same way, and unlearning internalized homophobia is something I still struggle with sometimes. I hope you have other people in your life that you can feel safe to be yourself with.

I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder as a teen and was bullied pretty bad, so part of my personality is wanting others to be happy soΒ when I realize I've hurt or offended someone, I feel literally like shit.
And I do have people in my life I can be myself with. I'm blessed that my parents are opening their minds to what I am and what I hope to be! I'm more blessed to have my sister whose stuck by me no matter what I've thrown at her. SheΒ didn't bat an eye when I told her about my sexuality.
I have to ask; what's with the pic? It's really cool, but I can't figure it out.

It was a quote I made up when talking with my dad. Then I extended it a bit. Now it's an Edgar Allan Poe quote, because he's my favorite Literary figure (and Shakespeare).

wat i really liked about this comic was the detail. cuz most ppl tend to forget that gaara would have a scar from that single injury he got during the chuunin exams. excellent work, i praise u X3

Well, it's never been confirmed by canon that the chidori left a scar. Gaara could have had a self-healing ability like Naruto while he still had Shukaku, for example. But I like him having a scar so I draw it.

We have snugs, we have nakedness. we have muscles and even naked-er cuddles... what else is there to need? Loved this project straight from beginning to end, and while it must have been a hell of a lot of work, I can't help but hope you'll do somethign like this some other time ^^

I love them all snuggly like that and the way you draw naruto is just hmmmm, I love how buff he looks compaired to gaara haha;; I cant hide the fact that I'm a fan(girl) and I'm trying hard not to squeal;; but your style is in my eyes, very unique and I would regonize it anywhere.

Thank you. I don't draw a lot of buff guys, but grown-up Naruto is fun to draw (clothed or not), and Gaara, too, of course. I think I make the latter a little too skinny sometimes (but I try to let him at least have a bit of muscle in his arms, because those are about the only part of his body he's required to move while fighting).

.....Okay, this is an ungodly amoutn of fluff. This should come with a warning about this causing hazardous amoutns of mweeing and radical strogen rise. I mean look at them, they are nuzzlign eachother!
I was wondering about the different dialog, but then I read your comment in the journal and got it and truthfully, this works so much better and more happily and everything- it fits in canon so well and makes me think of a possible optimistic future~
And man, seeing them cuddle like that and the dialog is just love. Again I will mention my undying lust for Naru's buffness and gaara's anorexicness, all the more because of your last pic, which now in my mind is just what happenned before they woke up this morning. Ah, love.

I'm glad you like the dialogue. I like the fic's ending, too, but a lot of the things I wanted to be said are narrator's lines there, and then there's of course the reference to a different scene. They are alternate versions of the same idea. :)
