Yours, mine, ours - Suna, Konoha, in each other's arms.Dating a fellow head of state is going to be made of goodbyes and reunions. And also being as good as married to your country as much as to your spouse.

Brush+black ink, black brushpen and 0.05 black pen (and some correction fluid) for the first picture.
Copic markers, coloured brushpens, a black 0.05 pen, some colour pencil, and a couple of dots of white gel pen for the second one.

Nyt on tehtävä tunnustus: jo monta kuukautta oon sun töitäsi tirkistellyt, mutta stalkkerin ominaisuuksiini ei ole aikaisemmin kuulunut kommenttien jättö... Heh, jos totta puhutaan niin ennen sun töihin tutustumista olin melkoisen kiihkeä NaruSasu fani, olin ollut jo monta monituisen vuotta... Yhdessä yössä mun lojaalius kääntyi, mun ystävät ei ollu uskoa tätä käännöstä! : D
Hetkisen aikaa sitten mun oli pakko lukea Saukkosotilaat uudestaan, muistelin nauttineeni sen lukemisesta ensimmäisellä kerralla. Sen vaan sanon, että mun on vaikea uskoa että tuo olisi ollut sun ensimmäinen kerta sarjakuvaa tehdessä... Jälki oli hyvin ammattimaista.

Haha, aina parempi! Eivaan, saahan sitä NaruSasufanikin olla (ainakin yksi suosikkini GaaNaru-fanitaidetta tuottavista taiteilijoista on molempia, ja itsekin olen kovin kiinnostunut kyseisten (yksipuolisesti?) itseadoptoitujen veljesten frenemy-sekasotkusta vaikken pariskuntana fanitakaan). Mutta toki olen hilpeä ja ylpeä siitä, että olen näillä fiktiivisten hahmojen rakkaudelle tuottamillani rakkaudentunnustuksilla onnistunut esitelmöimään, mikä siinä minusta on niin ihanaa.
Ja kiitokset Saukkojen kehuista. Juu, ei se ensimmäinen ollutkaan. :) Se oli ensimmäinen noin pitkä sarjakuva, lyhyempiä olen tehnyt ainakin ala-asteikäisestä ja vielä pidempään juonta hautonut vähän päälle kymmenvuotiaasta (...luonnollisesti lopullinen versio, kun sen joskus saan edes alotettua, ei tule olemaan ihan alkuperäistä vastaava :D).

The prevailing theory seems to be that the chakra-infused sand the gourd is made of moved to make room for his hand, because Gaara wants to be hugged properly and his (conscious or subconscious) thoughts control the sand. :)

Ah, again with the bromance. Is there some excellent reason I'm not aware of that we can't refer to friendship between two men as friendship?
But yes, I do adore the relationship these two have, be it as friends, lovers or something more difficult to define.

I think a bromance is more close, like friendship, but on an extreme level. Hahaha. XD I like how they can be so silly and crazy in comics and it's so them, but they definitely have a weird relationship. They don't talk in the manga/anime much anymore, which makes me sad.

In that case, what's the extremely close brand of friendship called when it's between two women or a man and a woman?
Well, they never did talk much on screen (but the three months between the Sasuke Retrieval mission and Timeskip that they both spent in Konoha, and the journey back to Suna after Gaara's resurrection, would seem likely timings for longer conversations, and we do have at least one canon reference to a chat we haven't been shown them having). Naruto and Gaara have for a while now been able to understand each other from just a few words and looks, and they seem to be pretty much on the same page even when they haven't seen each other in a long while. I'd love to see them interacting more face to face, but the strength of their bond doesn't seem to hinge on it at all.

Except, if I called someone my girlfriend, I'd mean it as in this girl and I are dating, and that's what it'd sound like to me if someone else introduced someone as their girlfriend. Surely there's a term besides "friendship" or "close friendship" for close platonic relationships between women and between men and women if there's one for men? Unless men being friends with each other is just so much more common... which I don't think is true. Or, the person who came up with the term "bromance" just thought "friendship" is too "girly" and anything closer than friends is too "gay", and that since Real Men™ can't be either, they need a word to describe their manly, manly love that won't offend their fragile and narrow sense of acceptable gender and sexual identity.
Would that make sense? Because if the latter is the right answer, I don't see any reason to validate that way of thinking by using the term.

I don't think you introduce someone as a hey, this is tom, my bromance. I think it's more of a term you call two men without them knowing. So I don't know what two girls would be really. if I have a close girl friend, like my friend angela, I think people assume we are not in a sexual relationship... =3 Maybe someone will make one.

I love how it's Garaa the one who's jumping to glomp Naruto- and I also somewhat adore how Naruto wormed his hand between Gaara's waist and the Gourd- that would take skills and some good amount of practice!
I envy Konoha and Suna yaoi fangirls. Their respective kages are most generous in supplying sources XD

Haha, it's half that Gaara is rushing to glomp Naruto and half that Naruto pulled him forward the moment he was within reach, I think.
And yes - much practice. Nothing's gonna keep the world's most stubborn ninja from properly returning his most precious person's hugs, least of all lumps of sand that person may be wearing on his back (then again, the gourd is sand mixed with Gaara's chakra and responds to his probably even subconscious thoughts, so maybe it made room for Naruto's arm). :D
Forget the yaoi fangirls, I envy their kages. Well, not for the astronomical workload and the stress of a long-distance relationship that has little chance for privacy what with them being celebrities and all, but they sure look happy despite those things when I draw them together.
