Indoraptor:Β Huh. You know, when she's sleeping, for some reason, all I wanna do is... kill anything that might touch her.

I can see this in a human context as children asking to play and this seven foot dad giving the ultimate death glare

The kid's pretty fierce herself, so I doubt her parents would have to protect her from other raptor babies (not that there are any around at this point anyway, local raptor population's pretty limited).

Perhaps, it's difficult to say what would be the correct familial term for how she and the Indoraptor prototype are related, but she could probably be considered his mother. If she saw it that way herself (and was alive), then she'd probably see his children as her grandchildren, too.

Basically yes. The baby would just make the same child-to-parent noises to both and not find it very relevant whether they're moms or dads or what.
I have her address them by parental terms associated with their respective gender in the comics I've drawn of these characters, but in practice both of them are just in the category "parent" to her. I just preferred to have her make a distinction between them in dialogue to get across that she does recognize they're two different individuals, and that seemed like the simplest way to go about it.

If I remember correctly, yes originally all dinosaurs were genetically made female so they could not breed and pose the risk that would come from more dinosaurs being made.Β
They used frog DNA though to fill in the rest of the gaps, and as some frogs are able to change their gender it resulted in some of the dinosaurs converting to male.
In Jurassic World though, there's no specific mention of the whole gender issue. Since most of the dinosaurs are referred to as female by the human characters, Indoraptor is probably the only canonically male dinosaur.
Of course, I might be wrong but that's the best explanation I could figure out,

Wait a minute...
Wasn't Indo-Raptor considered like a "Son" of Blue ?
I mean, I just don't get it anymore...

He's an adult, not genetically related to her, and she didn't raise him. In canon they of course barely know each other, but in a scenario where they do end up being around each other more and getting along, my interpretation is they would just be friends rather than her adopting him, but you're free to interpret it otherwise if you prefer.

No problem, it's not established very clearly in the movie, and I think the trailers ended up implying Blue would be captured to use her DNA to make the Indoraptor we see in the movie. It's the next batch of Indoraptors Wu wanted to make related to Blue and have her raise them from hatchlings, in hopes that this would make them easier to train than the prototype is.

Oh, yeah - thanks I remember now.
Indo we saw was an Early "Test" they made.
Blue was suppose to be used for Next Indoraptor.
