Thank you! I intended for the raptor baby watching a human use a door handle to be the raptor from Jurassic Park, who figures out how to open the door to the kitchen to go after Lex and Tim. Maybe she learned it that way.
Because the Indoraptor is an animal, I wouldn't say he qualifies as either bad or a guy.

They're so cute! The Indoraptors don't look as vicious as babies.

i have a dinosaur OC, he isn't a raptor BUT..is it ok if I tell you his name, species and desc? I can only do his desc cause IΒ suck at drawing and drawing ceratopsians n such, but canΒ I tell you him?

I'm sure other people would like to find out about your character, too. You could put his info in your gallery or journal, so everyone who visits your page has the chance to read it without you having to tell everyone individually.
You can probably find character bases that are free to use on this site if you'd like to make a visual representation of your character without drawing him from scratch, I think there might be some for dinosaur characters, too, including ceratopsians. Or you could find an artist who takes requests or commissions to draw him. Or perhaps tutorials to help you learn to draw the character yourself. Good luck!

the chances of you drawing him are probs low, im terrible at drawing ceratopsians, but I do remember you telling me about other people that could draw bison..can youΒ give me examples of some peole that might be in the mood to do him?

The chances of me taking a request while I'm not taking requests are indeed quite low, I'm afraid. People often have it stated on their main page somewhere if they're taking commissions or requests, so pay attention to that when you come across artists whose work you like, and I'm sure you'll find an artist to portray your character eventually. I wish you luck on your search.
And of course, being terrible at doing a thing is the first step to beginning to learn to do the thing, so that's an option, too.

Thank you!
As much as I like the bald JP/JW raptors for what they are, I also love the more accurate feathered ones, and it's been great watching our understanding of the real dinosaurs develop during my lifetime.
Like, JP1 has Dr. Grant bring up that some scientists believe dinosaurs had more in common with birds than with reptiles, still a controversial opinion at the time, and nowadays we know that yes, raptors were birds! And modern birds are dinosaurs! We've even discovered species that match more closely in size the deliberately exaggerated for effect JP raptors than the real Velociraptor or Deinonychus did. So cool.
And yeah, I talk a lot about how bad the Indoraptor's care was, but the Indominus wasn't much better off. If Indo was a prototype for future, proper versions, then she was like a first draft just to test the paper and ink. Nobody seemed to know how to handle her and not enough effort was put into figuring it out. And those who did know more about how she functions kind of took the approach of sitting back and watching what happens when she's made uncomfortable enough to lash out, rather than trying to prevent her getting uncomfortable.

You're welcome! I love learning about the development of dinosaurs over history, it's so interesting. But yeah, it's fun to draw both kinds! I like that the films touch on that too, but I think they recognise that if they changed the 'original look' too much, the public would be in outrage haha. Though I do like it that the Indos had some tufty bits on their heads and tails. Like a small nod to the feathers. (Also loving the casual mention of Deinonychus! It's been my favourite dinosaur since I first learned about dinosaurs, and it never gets a mention (velociraptor hogs the spotlight a bit in the raptor world). I was so happy it was included in Jurassic World Evolution. And yes, I find it interesting how much the raptors were exaggerated too considering Velociraptor is supposedly the size of a turkey in reality (slightly less threatening, but I still wouldn't test it! Normal turkeys are intimidating enough thank you. Haha)
Yeah that's why I empathise with Indo so much in the first film and find her death a bit horrible, as she was just acting how she was brought up to act (I work in psychology, and find myself even psychoanalysing dinosaurs haha! The Behavioural 'nurture' Model is strong within Indominus Rex. :') But also a lot of 'nature' going on too there! She needs some "DBT" and a self soothe box, then she'd feel validated )Β

If there's going to be new dinosaurs cloned in the next movie that would be a great opportunity to have them be more scientifically accurate. They're no longer made for a theme park and don't need to in-universe match the public's expectations of what dinosaurs look like. They could have feathered raptors with correctly positioned wrists and everything. There's already been fully feathered dinosaurs in the JP/JW franchise, but in material outside the movies.
For the raptors' size I just assume that in the universe these movies take place in, Dakotaraptor or Achillobator was discovered sooner than in our world, and ended up being named Velociraptor. Maybe Velociraptor mongoliensis is known as Ovoraptor in that world and Deinonychus was never considered a type of Velociraptor (like it was when Crichton wrote the JP novel hence why the JP raptors are actually based on Deinonychus, though still made bigger so they're scarier).
As much as I love the raptors in context of JP/JW, outside it my problematic fave dinosaur is Troodon. Or, the bunch of different species the remains considered to be Troodon might actually be, but, that mess. I wish we got a somewhat realistic rendition of those in the Jurassics, they came so close with JW the game having a feathered Troodon.
And one reason I want to play Jurassic World Evolution is to make my own Indominus rex and Indoraptor and give them nice big paddocks where they can be happy and to take good care of them, lol.

The person who made the tumblr post the meme is from was definitely onto something there.
I think it fits the situation.
I made the newly hatched Indominus look pretty ready to run and chomp fingers immediately out of the egg, so maybe one reason she did what she did was she was expecting to get fed right away and wasn't, because the people in the lab couldn't have known very well what to expect of a completely new species, and so she made into a meal what was available. Turn your back for a second, and whoops, there goes the spare hatchling.

cool art blue and indo are so young.
p.s I do ship blue and Indoraptor but I have an idea can you draw the spinoraptor in the battle lockwood mantion
and you're title that indo say stay a way from her cues that would be cool.

I haven't played the DLC that has the Spinoraptors in it, or watched any playthrough videos yet, so I don't know much about the species. Perhaps I'll draw some when I'm more familiar with their design, though.
