Really wanted to play around with colours on this.I didn't find out about the anniversary till one day before... so I crammed this into roughly 2 hours.
HAPPY 21st EARTHBOUND! I LOVE THIS GAME!

Another marvelous drawing by Kanis for the 21st birthday of the Mother/EarthBound series! The color variety was very well-planned for an evening scene (or it could be in Magicant, Ness' "inner world"). The face expressions are clear and well-made, the little detail, such as the meteor that starts of the game's story also gives that EarthBound-y taste to the image. And there is the Mr. Saturn on top of Ness' cap. The Mr. Saturn represents innocence in the game and since this image probably was before game events (as told above), this image shows Ness' innocence before going on his life-changing journey to fulfill the prophecy empowered by evil Giygas. Once again, great work Kanis!

Am I the only one here who's least favourite game in the franchise is Earthbound? Yeah..? Okay I'll leave now.

It's not my favourite game from the series either honestly. I still need to beat Mother 1, but my favourite is definitely Mother 3.

Β Mother 3 is my favourite game in the series to, I still need to finish Earthbound, but I really don't like it as much as Mother 1 or 3. Mother 3 has the best storyline, (In my opinion) then Mother 1, Earthbound has one of those 'you are the chosen hero' themes, (Not that that's a bad thing, but compared to M1 and 3, it's a let down, and quite a big one for me... probably just me though ;w

I really enjoyed Earthbound, but Mother 3 wins it for me because of the storyline.

It took me roughly 1 month to finish it, I kept dying.

I heard Mother 1 is hard compared to the other two. Apparently you can go into battle with full HP and get "one-hit-KO'ed" by a continual attack. Happened to me when I faced off with a tiger, didn't see that coming.

Yeah, that's annoying sometimes. It's a one of those grind-fest games. Luckily I like grinding.

It is, but I think it deserves to be so much appreciated by long time and new fans alike! It's such a unique and great game, and it stays with you. After I beat Earthbound I was just like... wow.
