Watercolour Valentine Submission nĀ°2.I think I found my love for watercolours again. <3
And thus I decided to do some pictures for Valentine, and this is the second one, featuring Allen Walker and Lenalee Lee of D.Gray-man.
The second pairing of D.Gray-man I support, even more than Alma(f)xKanda. Allen and Lenalee are pretty cute together. ^^"
I wanted to draw them in evening gowns. Maybe Komui organised a Valentine ball? :3
I wasn't too pleased with the original lineart, so I used this picture to experiment a little with the method and colours.
I tried to give Lenalee's dress a floral pattern, hope that turned out well; XD The background is something I added quickly... I wasn't originally going to add a background. But, it turned out well, no?
(And isn't Allen's little ponytail cute <3) XD;;

I like how you used watercolors here but the floral pattern isn't that visible. Anyways, everything looks amazing and glad you added Tim

It's just the branches on the edge of her skirt though...If it didn't come out that well, it looks better on the original piece. :3

yeah the design on her skirt didn't come out that visible maybe you should add a little dark colors to outline them, just my suggestion

i use it for skin tones... so yeahh but i am managing with pastels...

Oh. I use a combination of yellow, ochre,(reddish) brown and dark brown to create my skintones.
Oh, pastels... it's been a while since I worked with those. :3

You did an amazing job here, Lenalee's drees is so pretty <3, the colors you choose to color it were the best you could used
