the tutorial was very helpful bhut i cant seem to find the pot bottom net you show here...when i look it up i get planting pots instead of sheets of mesh?

Sorry, the pot bottom net is very common item in Japan.
I think you can use plastic canvas, something like that.
There are many thing can be used in fursuiting. Please discover.

Ooh, I like this method. I always feel too uncomfortable making the base too blocky and simple as I do not work well with foam shaping.

Thank you very much for sharing! Instead of the newspaper-build-up you could use cley, this way it would be easier to model the head. But I really like it, uses the best of a lot of different techniques

hmmm.. I think clay is unsuitable.
Because to make shape just as head base, I must push pot bottom net little hard.
