Actually, come to think of it, a lot of deaths in The Walking Dead game are really stupid.

Lee falls off a high building (twice)
Lee can be completely willing to bite the electric fence
Lee can watch a bird inside the drug store while Katjaa yells for Glenn's help
Lee can be a pisscouch and let Clementine be chewed up by a walker in the train station
Lee can be silent and let Kenny stay in denial while Duck turns into a zombie and kills everyone (#Duckpocalypse)
Lee can sit there gawking at the stranger after Clem hits him and wait to be shot
Lee can die in a variety of horribly stupid ways.

I can only imagine that after the duckpocalypse ending, Kenny proceeded to blame it all on Lee.

I really liked Duck, he brought something special to the game for me. Clementine wasn't really a believable child.

In my opinion, Duck was kind of annoying. I'm using the same wording as someone else here, but some people actually don't like Duck because:
-He's dumber than a box of rocks
-He proceeds to get a cool character (i.e Shawn) killed which in turn gets the group kicked off the farm
-He damn near gets HIMSELF killed not five minutes later into the game
-He does not thank Lee when/if he gives him scarce food in episode one
-He hogs the swing from Clementine in episode two
-He is also really annoying to Clementine
-And finally he's a completely worthless character who only exists as a plot device.
Now, I know some people actually like Duck, but again, this is my own opinion, and my opinion is he isn't that great.

Well, I can't refute all that but
1. Shawn was fucking idiot for leaving Duck on the tractor while it was on, barely supervised.
2. He might not have directly thanked Lee, but I think it was pretty obvious he was grateful. At least in my playthrough.
3. Clementine tormented him with bugs
