Little bit of backstory cause why the hecc not:

Confusion washed over me, Zaira pushed the glass of the cold, sweet-smelling soda towards me. 'what is it?', I asked.
'Pineapple soda. I know you don't want to try it but we've already tried everything else!' the mottled canine replied.
'but...You hate pineapple, you said it's really sour and-'
'we've already tried everything else.', she impatiently repeated. I stared coldly at the glass, I had always avoided pineapple flavoured things as Zaira had despised the fruit for as long as I could remember. Zaira flashed a knowing look in my direction, it was as if she'd read my mind and knew how much I didn't want to try it, however, the comforting look gave me the courage to take a sip of the soda. Zaira watched carefully. As I sipped on the straw I felt myself drinking more and more, I couldn't bring myself to stop - a warm feeling was travelling through my body, the sweetness of the delicious drink was overwhelming, I could think of nothing else. I had already finished half the glass before I finally opened my eyes to see my friend staring at me, wide-eyed and open-mouthed. I suddenly realised that my fur was no longer grey, instead it had turned a lavender colour with violet highlights and darker markings on my ears and back leg, the water in my tanks had been replaced with an irresistibly sweet-smelling, bubbly, golden liquid and I felt stronger and more content that I'd ever been before. Zaira, forgetting her hatred of the drink, circled me excitedly, rambling loudly. I didn't hear what she was saying, I only caught a few words such as 'Myst' and 'soda' and others that I could no longer remember - I was too taken aback to listen, I'd done it, after all these years I'd finally done it, I would never be the lone grey pup anymore, I am Myst, a purple pineapple pupoppy, and I have found my soda.
