Watched most of the first Pretty Cure. Seeing Honoka and Nagisa's interactions made me ship them well before I got to the half way point. Personally I think that pairing the two of them would have improved the series since it would have helped come up with more plot during the show's slow points.

Honoka is probably my favorite cure in the whole Pretty Cure franchise. She doesn't get nearly enough screen time when she and Nagisa are supposed to share it.
