Description Some years ago, I worked as an Latter-day Saint missionary in Washington DC. During that time, we had a day set aside each week to relax and prepare for another week of proselyting. This particular preparation day saw me and my fellow missionaries at the Lincoln Memorial watching the sunrise over the National Mall. Quite a sight!

That's me in silhouette.

What makes this quite unique is the framing of the scene as you and the buildings (esp. the tall one) all point towards the sky as a focal point. Personally I have been to Washington DC at least 4 years ago in late November for about a week. Though I have never seen DC during the dawn hour, I have visited the Memorial where I saw a lot of tourist in the cold yet sunny weather. & yeah, it's beautiful and colorful watching the sun rise.

This sure brings me back memories when I was in Washington DC 5 years ago... = ) Though I wasn't there till dawn at the Lincoln Memorial, I was at the restaurant dinning in for our final meal with my TREK AMERICA team (been campin' and adventuring for 20 days, that was epic...) - we had Italian pizzas and pastas that evening!

But yeah a great photoshot Kovabomb! I like how you utilised the shadows to create a unique pattern of shapes and borders - rather artsy! And the colours from the dawn setting makes me feel at ease... It's almost like the feeling I got when I finished playing SA2... That last quote said:

"But for now... Rest easy heroes..."
