Jesus Christ, this is gorgeous. The mist that envelops the trees, the rain, the moss on the rocks and the look on the main character that gives off this happy yet melancholic vibe to the whole scenario... This is it, this checks pretty much all the boxes for my idea landscape. I would have this hung on my wall, I kid you not. Magnificent job.

It's definitely my new desktop-background for an indefinite time. Just looking at it I can really well imagine myself in that place, and of course it is very well just what real Equestria would look like.

Can you tell what kind of references did you use? I want to find this piece of nature on photos. Or just tell what kind of forest is this?
