Road from Bayburt to Erzurum, Turkey
On 2409m.a.s.l. it is quite hard to find any shop or market. My arse is freezing even though legs are working hard. Hnds are freezing even though I'm wearing gloves. Moving up the mountain I'm thinking about one thing only....where is the fu&^%* end of it smile emoticon I'm looking at the passing cars and resting a bit. In my left hand a piece of frozen bread, in the right one a bowl of pasta with ketchup; interestingly it tastes like a nice meal served in a good restaurant (perhaps my taste buds were frozen too). The mountain is ending and another part of my history with it. It's downhill to Erzurum to welcome my dear French friend....
