I wanted the deers to look somewhat like that forest god in Princess Mononoke. With foliage sprouting out everywhere and what not. :'D

I sketched, outlined with ink, and then painted with watercolour here. I use a few inks here and they tend to be more vibrant. ^^

I love this composition! Love. You mixed all kinds of colors so nicely, and they all look fantastic together. The blue of the sky really helps draw attention to the detail of the foliage. And even with the inked details you managed to incorporate more, like the spots and stripes on the deer.
