Description Hey guys! Been a while!

Today I'd like to present to you a Survivor concept for the game Dead By Daylight, a pretty fun horror game that I have recently gotten into just in time for the release of its newest Survivor and Killer duo. Below is his background and perks, please feel free to let me know what you all think!

F.M.: “Today the Entity threw a curve ball, at least I think so. This...creation, this thing, looks like a man but is just another killer. He pretends to protect the other survivors and the killers jokingly pretend to be surprised when the thing jumps between their weapon and a survivor. At least, that's what I used to think. That was before, before the Doctor nearly had me, and the thing got in the way and gave him a good wallop. That thing has a mean right hook...”


Roberto Villareal was like any other teenager growing up in a college town, an average student and average boy cared for by a pair of loving parents. His parents however held a dark secret. His father was a general in the US Military while his mother was a scientist who at face value was a doctor, but behind the scenes worked with her husband in the rejuvenated experiments to reanimate the dead. Like the tale told by a horror movie, Roberto and a group of friends discovered his parents' experiments and worked to expose their mass genocide ultimately resulting in Roberto's sacrifice to see their mission through. Killed by his own father, who was in turn killed by his mother, Roberto would undergo a transformation that would leave him as something greater than human.

A mesh of crude prosthetics and dying flesh created a being of limitless strength and endurance. It was a fool's errand created by a young mother desperate to save her son but ultimately only created a new realm and a new killer for the Entity to take. Unfortunately, this boy rejected the Entity and refused to become one of its killers, instead using his herculean attributes to help the Survivors pass the Entity's trials, though even he knows that a day will come where he cannot resist the Entity's temptations any longer. He cast away his old name, acknowledging that he is no longer human, and instead took up a more fitting name: “F.M.”

F.M.'s Perks

These are perks which start off only appearing in F.M.'s Bloodweb. After achieving level 30, teachable versions of these perks can be found:

  • Tougher than Human – Level 30

  • Killer's Sight – Level 35

  • Counter – Level 40

If obtained other survivors are able to find F.M.'s perks in their Bloodwebs from that point on.

F.M. specializes in tracking and countering Killers in a desperate situation and getting out alive. His perks help him to locate and even stalk Killers, some perks revealing himself – and by extension the Killer – to his allies.


Tougher than Human

You are far stronger and durable than the humans you help. Your chance of escaping from the hook on your own increases by 10/15/20%.

Unique to F.M. until Level 35, at which point its Teachable version can then be learned and taught to the other Survivors.


Killer’s Sight

The Entity speaks to you and wants you to fall, but you use its enticing gifts to your advantage! The Killer’s aura is revealed to you whenever you are outside of their Terror Radius.

"I can see the Exit from here. We can make it if we run."

"No. We can't."

"Why not?"

"Because we're being watched." — Meg and F.M.

Unique to F.M. until Level 35, at which point its Teachable version can then be learned and taught to the other Survivors.


Counter

A brief stance that lasts for 1s. If the Killer strikes while this stance occurs, the Killer is stunned for 3s, but the counter attacker's aura will be exposed to the Killer and fellow Survivors for 10s upon activation (1s for the stance, approximately 2s for the animation, 3s for the duration of the killer's stun time, and 4s after the killer recovers). Counter will then be unavailable until the Perk meter is refilled (refilled by performing other actions such as saving survivor's and repairing generators) and cannot be used on abilities such as Hillbilly's Chainsaw.

Unique to F.M. until Level 40, at which point its Teachable version can then be learned and taught to the other Survivors.
