Description

"The Will of the Force isn't the will of some...grandiose...god-like entity. The Will of the Force is the gut instincts of a pilot, the experience of a veteran, the instincts of a mother. It is the arrogant’s fatal mistake, it's the hope of someone with no hope. We are the Force, and the Force is with us." - Theo Erroa

Real name Theo Erroa, Theo is meant to be a Jedi in layman's terms; he simplifies the viewpoints of the Jedi because he's more down-to-earth than most others and therefore attempts to explain their perspective from his point of view to the curious few who ask him about it. He was trained in Luke's Jedi Order alongside Ben Solo but when Ben became Kylo Ren and destroyed the Order, Theo dueled and lost to him, losing his right arm and later his left leg after it was crushed under burning debris. When Luke awoke, he found Theo clinging to life and spirited him away to the care of Leia who took charge of nursing the young man back to health, from then on taking the alias of Theo G. Gunkler

Born to a Dathomirian Night Sister and her freed Night Brother husband, making him 1/3 Zabrak. He takes largely after his father, possessing a crown of five horns, three arranged triangularly along his forehead while the last two juts upwards in front of his temples. One of the smaller horns is virtually destroyed thanks to a swipe from a lightsaber that also left an elongated scar above his right eye. He is dark skinned and possesses tribal tattoos like his father, but his amber eyes and white hair are attributes inherited from his mother. His hair is short and combed forward with the front of his hair outlining his horns.

Theo inherited his powerful potential mainly from his mother who was a force-sensitive but untrained Night Sister. Under Luke Skywalker’s tutelage, he became specialized in the use of supplemental and defense-oriented force abilities such as Force Shields, Tutiminis, Force Illusion, and Battle Meditation, his strongest Force Ability.

Theo’s martial skill emphasized a jack-of-all-trades approach, learning a wide swath of martial arts other than the art of the lightsaber as a supplement to his force capabilities. This specialist loadout became a great boon on an ever-changing battlefield or duel arena but became lethal if he was ever forced to exclusively use a single combat style. This was never more evident than in his duel with Kylo Ren, the last time he ever wielded a lightsaber. While Ren was able to get the drop on him, Theo was able to fend him off using his force defenses and a simple close-quarters technique that denied Ren the use of his lightsaber; but the moment Theo decided to confront him blade-to-blade, Ren made short work of dismantling Theo’s counter-based defenses and cutting him down, giving Theo his gruesome disfigurement. Following his duel with Ren, Theo committed fully to the study of hand-to-hand combat, creating a style that was efficient, subversive, and quick to the takedown.

Theo is a young man with his head in the clouds, but feet planted on the ground. Often Theo would dismiss the platitudes of the Jedi in favor of more down-to-earth outlooks that remain in-line with Jedi teachings. If one were to ask him what the Force was, he would answer in a method the individual understood, “the gut instincts of a pilot, the experience of a veteran, the instincts of a mother”. The outward expression Theo shows is always someone of a collected and suave gentleman until someone gets him started on Jedi history and lore.

I like the thought of Theo - despite being a Jedi - be a nerd who loves reading Jedi lore and history.
