I'm not dead! Just in the middle of a move while struggling to keep up withΒ #inktober2015 . I've mainly been posting these on twitter, but I found this one to be nice enough to share. I'm also shading with ink as well! squirted some india ink in my new Pentel Aquash Β water brush and really having fun exploring what it can do.

Do you have to wash out the ink after each use? I picked up the Aquash that comes prefilled with light black pigment ink, and I'm really liking it, would love to get the unfilled version but wasn't sure how easy it would be maintenance/ cleaning wiseΒ

I haven't emptied/cleaned mine out yet. Holds way more ink/water than I expected!

Not at all! It actually holds moisture/ink just like a watercolor brush would. I'm fiddling with my ink to water ratio as it really determines how dark your ink washes come out.Β

Ah awesome thanks for the info, my next art store run I'm going to have to pick one up! Would be nice to have one I can use for black washes since the other I have is more of a grey
