Attention fellow Harley Quinn fans!As some of you may know, D.C has relaunched a new team in Suicide Squad with a refashioned Harley Quinn. [link] LOTS of Harley fans are in a tizzy over this new look, and rightfully so! Harley's original costume was not only quirky and sexy, but wasn't gratuitously revealing much less battle functional. I'm all for character redesigns, but this new look is just awful.
Tried my own hand at refashioning Harley's look- I tried a bombardier look with shortened harlequin stalks, but with the choice of eyewear I doodled up, it made her look like a jester version of Catwoman, so it was scrapped. You can still view it here: [link]

:/ Yeah, DC comics went from being something of interest to me to another thing to avoid out of distaste. Especially what they did to Harley; she and Ivy are my favorite villains of all time.
Anyway your redesign is spiffy! She looks kind of knight-ish which is a cool twist. Also love the short cape in the back.

What happened to the good old days of Harley when she was wearing that cute costume.
even as a kid i adored her then,
now harley is just a braindead whiny teenybopper . (has played Arkham asylum and City)
but i love your take on Harley. giving it a good balance of Cute and badass.
puts my faith back in one day having good ol Harley back.

I heard about the redesign! i don't really care for it either! actually on facebook someone put up a page to have people vote against the new look, there was a lot of people for that XD but I have a feeling the aritst/writers/DC company will still put out what they want lol.

I approve. Anything's better than what they went with, and you managed to update her original look while making it just as functional and "new." I'm still raging over the DC redesigns, I have yet to see one I like for any of the characters. Ivy's in particular is just confusing.

The Dee Dees' were allegedly Harley Quinns daughters. Harley Quinn herself made a cameo as an old lady at the end.

I really like this! It still retains the things fan love and recognise in Harley. Diamonds, pom poms, liliripes, practicality, colour scheme... in short love it. I hate how the reboot takes away the clown element of her character. That's pretty much the whole point! The Joker is her illness, she became his "Harlequin"
