does it actually dry out after a long time or can you rework it whenever? the skill for that stuff is incredible haha.. i have photography and glass..

It dries - depending on the size, in minutes to hours. It can be carved - it's not too hard. With water the dried parts can be made somewhat soft again.

do you fire it when youre finished? or just glaze it?

I like to coat them with wax. The sculpture has to be heated up for that, but I don't think it's enough to count it as baking/firing.

sounds like they end up nice and shiny haha. and yeah it makes sense.. i had to finish a wood piece with wax once.
