Description Well he’s finally done! Had this guy WIP for oh….what…3 weeks now? Quite a long while for me XD;;;

So Connor Wolfhound is a background wolf from the Fright On special; I named him that. After making my Luken custom, I wanted to make Connor too.

He started off as a GB Jackson. I cut off his ears the best I could, intending to cover the spots with an air drying molding medium to cover the spots since werewolves don’t have regular ears too (one of my silent et peeves with wolf customs) but it refused to stick to the plastic >> So I ended up having to create a new rooting pattern to cover the areas. But it worked out well, makes him look more wolfish. But then since the air drying stuff failed, I had to sculpt his ears out of sculpy. So I did, took them off his head, then baked them.

Then came rerooting. He took up just over 2 MLP hanks of nylon hair, cut into sixths. Taking into account that I did have to add hair over the molded ears, but I left the holes where the sculpted ears would go. He was rehaired in Dollyhair’s Black Magic, while the teal is Sea Nymph (cut into quarters). After I finished rehairing him [link] , I set his hair with hot and cold water so it would lay flat.

Once that was dry it was time to repaint! I used a straight bottle color for his skin tone, for easy t ouch ups in the long run (unlike Momba who was a custom color). First I painted and sealed his ear holes and ears, which I then attached and then continued painting the rest of him. It does chip easily sadly, even after sealing. Luckily he has clothing that covers his joints though. The underside of his chin had to be redone a few times though because the paint kept peeling >>; But that’s what happens when you want working joints.

I love his face. When I was prepping him, I’d accidentally “ripped off” some of the original eye paint, so I couldn’t do my usual “fill in the lines” thing as easily but his eyes came out beautifully; his whole face did ^^ Though those teeth drove me nuts!

After he was all painted he got most of his clothes [link] however…he still needed a shirt I found some teal material so after removing the pockets from the shirt he came with, I added some sleeves, and wallah! Connor is all dressed!

I trimmed his hair then, but even though it’s not image accurate, I like it. Not all the dolls match their art exactly after all (ex. DotD Lagoona ) so as long as I like it, it’s all good ^^

So that boils and ghouls is my custom Connor Wolfhound. Yay Connor!
