OH MY GOD MY FIRST DAILY DEVIATION!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I just got back on the computer after going on a ski trip all weekend and having the best run of my life so far (stuck three large jumps in a row on a double-black diamond terrain park!) and THIS is what I see?! I recently saw the Broadway production of Mary Poppins and this afternoon I decided to throw together a journal for myself themed to the musical! I liked it and thought I'd share it with others as well.
I based the style and color of this design on the official propaganda for the show, like this: [link]
Everything was hand-drawn using vectors for this, however, and the only visual component of this that I traced to a certain extent was that of an image Mary Poppins to get her overall form right.

I really love this journal. The colors are perfect and so is the imagery! I saw the play recently too and you captured the mood and vibrancy of the play. Very nicely done.
The only problem I have with it is that when you install it and try to use it, the clubs, stamps, and features shown in your preview here show up and there is no way for the person themselves to remove those from the journal since it seems to be part of the journal itself. If there was a way to remove them that would make this practically perfect in every way.

If someone could tell me how to update the skin, I would gladly remove those stinkin' stamps.
Otherwise, to do it on your own, just delete the thumbs from the footer section on the tab with the code.

I haven't seen the musical myself, but I'm a big fan of the film. I'd been watching youtube videos of the broadway/tour version with Ashley and Gavin over and over the past two weeks, however, and I'm obsessed. Urk.

This is really nice! Totally using this as my journal skin!
However, I suggest you take the stamps, features, and clubs out of the journal code (or at least warn people that your stuck some in there. I support the GLBT community, but there are some people who might get pretty pissed.)

I did take them out but they never disappeared. All you have to do is change them in the footer bit of the code, though. It's actually sectioned off as its own separate piece in the installed journal.
