Though one thing (Even though I know this was a request) Personally....
I have absolutely no clue which house this pipsqueak would go to. I mean, I think he'd do great in all of them! (Though I don't think the Hufflepuffs would appreciate his ah... behavior - but who cares.)
And the uniform tho... must've cost an arm and a leg to get him in that. (Overused joke i know but idc) But enough with my dumb rambling, I really like this!

I can understand Edward being a Gryffindor, you know, brave and chivalrous and all that, but in all honesty I think he's more suited to be in Ravenclaw. Ed's just so fiercely intelligent for a shonen protagonist, it seems like a no-brainer (no pun intended); that bit when he got nervous around Winry mending his automail and coped by reciting the periodic table, being smart enough to figure out the exact composition of a grown human being at the age of 10, going up against Darius and Heinkel and beating them with the chemicals from the dynamite really displayed how smart he was
But I have zero complaints if he's in the same house as me

I really like that one fanfiction about Edward and Mustang in Hogwarts, but unlike all thought, he joined Slytherin
