I've been playing Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow! I played Portrait of Ruin, a bit more than half of it, but then returned it... games just aren't fun for me without a good amount of character development. DoS has that, PoR didn't. I didn't know that DoS was the second game in a specific plot, otherwise I would've played AoS first. But I was able to read the AoS script, so I don't need to play it!

Yeah, if you want character development, Castlevania isn't really the series that has a lot of it and PoR just happens to have a pretty bad storyline. I think Castlevania is mostly for it's platforming and meh combat gameplay and loot grinding and trust me is it time consuming when you want to grind some loot, especially DoS since if you get all the souls, I mean ALL, you get a OP equipment >___<
DoS is technically more of AoS but with some new mechanics such as the Soul Synthesis. So since you have played DoS, I don't think you should bother with AoS.
I do believe that you should play Order of Ecceslia. I think it has some good character development and pretty good gameplay. Though it can get hard especially some of the bosses *cough*Dracula and Blackmore *cough*

Oh geez, I think I'll simply stick with playing RPGs... LOL! Some of the boss battles just... ugh! In PoR, Death killed me 13 times!

LOL Yeah, Death is one of the harder bosses but if you got to the end, you will have to fight both Death and Dracula >___<

Max lvl 1? I've seen that statement around, but I've no idea what it means.
I can never do hard mode on anything... I'm simply a wimp like that. lol

You know how in normal mode, you can gain lvls and such. However, in max lvl 1, you stay at lvl 1 and don't lvl up, so any enemy can deal a lot of damage to you.

I just noticed that you changed your profile icon to one of Shanoa's "Glyph Union" attack sprites...I LOVED using Melio Falcis the moment I acquired it, especially combined with Nitesco.
Speaking of which, in an FE game, a Glyph Union would probably be Shanoa's critical-hit move.

Nitesco + Melio Falcis Glyph Union (plus both the Death & Judgment Rings equipped) = OVERKILL!!!
...Of course, you'd have to un-equip the Death Ring to prevent yourself from dying in one hit...
