With the 2020 release of SpaceHey, the return of the scene emo style has both made me happy and cringe with bittersweetness. I grew up in an area of cakey foundation, side swept bangs, raccoon tail extensions, of Gir from Invader Zim (or Hello Kitty) plastered onto every single bit of clothing, of "rawr XD wafflez 4 life" based humor... There was so much to this time era that made me realize that it really was just a phase. A phase that turned me into an adult emo.
