Got bored waiting for a client to call back and painted this. Thinkin about it I still haven't heard from them...Based on Eve online source material.

I fly a Rifter on EVE. Beautiful ships...the only one that looks like a ship more than a junkyard in the Minmatar fleet.
This isn't really criticism, but the in-game models of the Rifter have their primary or secondary ( I forget which one) on the top and bottom of the main hull of the ship, rather than on the wings. The engine-mounted ones are in the right place, and they resemble hybrid turrets...
I've only got autocannons on mine. Not got the skills for missile launchers or hybrids. Or even lasers.

It may be something crated on the base of those ships for In-Atmosphere flying.

Nah, I guess I could but planning something in depth to the point where I'm building a model to base a painting on takes the joy out of it.
I scribble something down, drop some vanishing points and a grid on it then start refining it with shape layers and paint over the top of them. Photoshop start to finish.
