Yeah, the only reason why I said I guessed it was from current-running Afghanistan/Iraq campaigns is because up close and personal, it looks to be in a better or equal condition compared to the Operation Iraqi Freedom M1A1 inside the museum, and it's a relatively new addition to the tank exhibit on the outside park...
Your guess is as good as mine...Of course that doesn't mean the Army didn't ship this tank in both wars, especially considering ground forces didn't get to see much action in the 1991 Gulf War, thus you won't find many battle scars on most '91 Gulf War armored vets...
