Exactly! Did you see the episode in Season 6 of Supernatural with the vampires? Where they basically spend the first 20 minutes of the episode outright mocking twilight. It was fantastic.

Yes, my only real requirement for vampires these days is they must be scary. I love stuff like Buffy and True Blood as much as the next fangirl, and yeah they have romantic plot lines, but at least the vampires actually occasionally eat and/or kill people.

XD Twilight is such a horrible series. Books and movies. The only reason i read them was because i didn't have anything else to do, and I watched the movies because I wanted to know what i was making fun of. The books have no plot, are horribly written and they are generally uninteresting. And SPARKLY VAMPIRES?! Really! That is ridiculous!

Now, see I don't actually HATE Twilight, per say. Sick of it berating my senses everywhere I look, maybe, but I don't actually have a lot of hate for it. I read the books about 4 or 5 years ago, back before it was some pop culture monolith, and actually had a bit of fun with it. I still kinda hated the two main characters, but I liked the random side characters (which, honestly, in my amature-writers opinion, should have been the main characters since they're far more interesting than the leads).
But I believe Cleolinda (@LiveJournal. She does Movies in 15 Minutes, they're fantastic)
