Why is there barely anything in the fandom of Neon Lights? He's actually a favorite background pony of mine. And as both are musicians, I like a few others like these two as a couple. So they decided to switch glasses here! I don't really like how Vinyl Scratch came out, but I really like how Neon Lights looks. Hopefully someday the fandom will someday see how cool this pony is!If any of you all want to color this, or use this for anything, feel free to as long as you credit me, and link me showing me to what you used it in!
*Also, I'm always looking for more interesting concepts for MLP FIM art, I have many ideas, but I'm always looking for more. If you'd like, you can share some interesting concepts for me, whether they are funny or just plain interesting, just make sure that they aren't ideas for mature art, I don't draw those kind of things. And of course, for any ideas I draw that was thought of by someone else, they will be credited!

In my opinion, the reason of Neon's lack of material is due to his extremely short appearance. Other great background ponies suffer of this as well, like Pokey Pierce. However, I think that it's ok that way because the fandom itself gives them better personalities and background stories than Hasbro itself.
Of course, this action has its price: I also agree with Vinyl and Neon look great being a couple, but when the fandom see it, they reject it, because they have the mental image that "VINYL IS THE GIRLFRIEND OF OCTAVIA". Oh, come on! I'm not against same-sex relationships, but implying that she's a lesbian only because of her talent and occupation? The same happens with Rainbow Dash. Also, there's another stallion pony, with a brief appearance too, who is a CLASSICAL musician, and would be awesome as Octavia's soulmate, just like Neon is to Vinyl. But it's ok. This happens in every fandom in existence.
