[IDENTITY]

Personality: Basaran is fairly softspoken, and often spends a considerable amount of time thinking before they will respond to something. When they do speak they are very cordial and speaks well, despite the slight hissing accent that comes with trying to speak around their rather long fangs.

They can be pretty easily annoyed, and will gradually become more and more reckless with their words and actions. They will forgive grudges with a sincere apology though, and is willing to forgive and forget.
Basaran has a surprisingly mischievous side, as they like to fluster people who they are comfortable with.

- Charismatic: Despite their size and slight lisp, Basaran is quite a charmer.
- Amiable: Basaran is easy to get along with, and always enjoys a conversation
- Forgiving: Everyone makes mistakes, and Basaran is willing to forgive and forget if the other party has learned from their mistakes.
- Deceptive: They dont often employ their charm for nefarious purposes, but if the situation calls for it they can use that charm to give a false sense of security.
- Self-Conscious: Basaran knows how large they are, and will often try to curl in on themselves in an effort to take up as little space as possible.
- Obsessive: Basaran is all about the details, almost to a fault. They can sometimes get a little bit naggy if something isnt just right.
- Self-Indulgent: They will often give in to that little voice in the back of their head that encourages them to do something they know they shouldnt do - like tease Z in front of other people.

[ BACKSTORY ]
Basaran's mother is the chief of their village. Basaran's particular line of Nagas are only ever born female, so they often take mates from other species - if a naga is born she stays with the tribe, and if a male is born he generally stays with his father. Male Nagas do happen, but they are rare and the tribe doesnt usually know what to do with them. Basaran was born male, but they later took on nonbinary pronouns to help interact with their village. Growing up they spent a roughly equal amount of time with their mother and father, often traveling between the two places once a month. This instilled Basaran's love of travelling, as the young Naga would be fascinated about what they managed to learn while on the road. When they became old enough, they left the area that they grew up in to travel the world.

After a few years they ran into Zeldan Whitewood, a half-elf who was on his way to an engineering college with his companion Aponia. Intrugued and somehow attracted to this small angry person, Basaran decided to make the journey with him. Over the following 2 years of travelling the two became very close, with Basaran convincing Z to make various detours along the way so that the two could see more of the world before they got to the college. They eventually became an item after a particularly dangerous experience forced the duo to quit dancing around each other, much to Aponia's relief.

In the middle of their studies, they woke one morning to find themselves not in the dorms, but in a strange clearing with several other people. The duo have adapted fairly well to life in Yggdrasil, but they both miss their families. Basaran is currently helping Z try to find Aponia, who went missing when they arrived.

[ SKILLS ]

Magic Class: Standard
Strengths:
- Charismatic
- Intimidating
Weaknesses:
- Not very helpful in a fight outside of their Magus Anima ability
- Squishy
- Large target
- Not good for stealth

Abilities:
- Magus Anima: Basaran's father was a Necromancer, and that power displayed itself in Basaran as the ability to give a pseudo-life. The organism glows with a green fire and will do whatever Basaran instructs it to do - this is useful when Zeldan wants to try out a new golem he had built.
HOW IT WORKS: This ability manifests itself in a green fire that serves as the energy source for the golems. Using Magus Anima takes a lot of energy, and so afterwards Basaran will need to sleep for a certain amount of days proportionate to how big and how many golems were summoned. If he is woken up during these sleep periods, he is very disoriented and is practically useless. Waking him up during these periods also tends to extend the recovery time for him.
+ Golem Size: SMALL || Small golems can reach up to the size of a cat. Up to 4 can be revived at one time, and requires a few minutes of concentration to revive each golem. They can survive on their own for a few months at a time. Basaran will require at least 1 full day of deep sleep after reviving a small golem.
+ Golem Size: MEDIUM || Medium golems can range from medium dog to human sized. Up to 2 can be revived at one time, and will need roughly 30 minutes of concentration per golem. They can survive on their own for only a day. Basaran will need at least 2-3 days of deep sleep after reviving a medium golem
+Golem Size: LARGE || Large golems can reach up to the size of a horse, and only 1 can be revived at a time. It will need roughly an hour of concentration to revive, and they generally survive for less than a day. Reviving a large golem takes a massive amount of energy, and Basaran will almost immediately pass out. He will need at least 4-6 days of deep sleep after reviving a large golem.

- Constrictor: Basaran's tail is quite strong - they are able to wrap themselves around others and squeeze, much like a boa constrictor.
