I could not pass up the chance to participate in this contest! How To Train Your Dragon has long been one of my all time favorite movies, and Toothless has always been my favorite character. I loved the introduction of the Light Fury in the final film so I knew I had to draw Toothless and the Light Fury for this. The colors and vibrancy of the hidden world blew my mind when I first saw them so I wanted to try and do something in that world. This style of painting is so far outside my comfort zone it took me forever to complete but I am very happy with how this came out!Β*updated image to replace watermark with signature

But I understand wanting to improve on art, so I'll offer my opinion (even though you are obviously way above my skill level).
First I'll start with composition, overall beautifully done. Many artists I see can get too carried away with the background thus having it be distracting from the main focus of the piece. This piece is right on point and I know what is the main aspect of the drawing from the thumbnail. I especially love the smaller glowing dragons and the motion blur that accompanies them. I also like that the watermark is incorporated into the piece without it being a major distraction A criticism that I have is that the brightness of the background is somewhat straining on the eyes. Perhaps toning it down would help.
Next is Anatomy. The anatomy here is on point and very well done! Specifically, I wanted to praise the texture given to Toothless's scales. It makes it seem 3d rather than a flat drawing. The reflection of the eyes is also another great part of this. For criticism, the folds on Toothless's wings are a bit confusing at a second glance, toothless's facial expression can use a bit of tinkering as well.
Moving onto coloring, gorgeous! I don't know if this is a mix between digital painting and digital drawing, but whatever you did it's amazing! The shading and highlights really add the depth to the piece. Again a criticism I have is the brightness.
Lastly overall this piece as a whole is stunning! While I think that the idea of the piece isn't that original it's a pretty small nitpick when comparing it to the rest of it. My only main problem is the brightness but everything else is so amazing. Honestly, I can stare at this for hours. Buddy, you have earned a favorite and a new watcher.
