Dark messy hair splayed across the pillow beside you, a stark contrast to the white sheets. His lips were parted as his slow breaths brushed across your neck. You smiled and lightly moved his hair away from his pale face, revealing the scar on his forehead. You found it hard to believe that you were deserving of the famous boy’s attention but you weren’t one to complain.

A gentle breeze whisked into the room through the cracked-open window, making the curtains flutter and allow flashes of sunlight to come and go across the bed sheets.

He sighed in his sleep, his warm arms tightening around you as he drew you closer, a soft smile growing on his face. Whatever he was dreaming about, it was nice. You didn’t want to wake him, so you just snuggled closer to him and decided that you’d stay in bed. Neither of you had any plans for the day, why bother getting up? You gently traced your fingertips across his collarbones. He continued to sigh and take sharp breaths in his sleep, a familiar sign that he was starting to wake up. You smiled and let your hand drop back onto the bed.

His dark brows furrowed as his eyelids started to flutter, flashes of his green eyes peeking out from underneath his long dark lashes. He raised one of his hands and rubbed his eye, letting out a low groan as he did so. He then let his arm flop back over you and he pulled you closer into his chest. “What time is it?” His voice was deep and raw from slumber as he tucked your head underneath his chin.

You ‘hmm’ed at him and pressed your face into the crook of his neck, leaving a soft kiss on his skin. “I don’t know.”

“Thought you said you had to go to the market since we were out of milk?” He rumbled, pressing his lips to the top of your head.

You chuckled, “Last time I checked, there was no designated time that I had to go to the market.”

He whistled between his teeth, “Sassy in the morning. I like it.”

You rolled your (e/c) eyes even though he couldn’t see them. You slowly rolled over and started to climb out of bed. You smirked and decided to tease him, your voice dripping with sarcasm, “Well, if you want me to leave that badly, I guess-”

A pair of strong arms wrapped around your torso and pulled you back underneath the downy blankets, your back pressed up against his chest. “I like your sass but I like morning cuddles much more.” He kissed the area just behind your ear and gently squeezed you. He wasn't going to let you get up anytime soon, and you were perfectly okay with that.
