I realy love this picture, taking a traditional creature and placing your own visualisations and style into the image
there is a nice flow to the creature, how it starts at the head and smoothly falls down the backbone without any items contradicting it. It gives the creature a sort of grace that can be diffult to capture on paper, but you have done excellent work with such and it pocesses a regality that seem to be the tradmark of most noble fantasy creatures.
I also like how you detailed the kirin, showing the scales without overdoing it, it gives it a sharp feel, showing enough to detail to give it a texture but not enough to be overly distracting making the viewer wanting to reach out and pet it ^^
the small bit of constructive critisim I have is the back hind leg mucle, the top part, where that particualr leg muscle should resemble a upside down triangle rather than a rectangle, tapering at the knee and widening at the top (hopefuly that made sense) other than that though, the proportions are excellent and I adore the hooves, which I myself find difficult, awsome work!!!
all, and al I love the sharpness of the line, the flow, and the style of the creature in general, lovely work and thankyou for sharing it with all us dev whores ^.^
keep it up
