Edit: I'm fed up with rips off. Watermark, copyright, lower resolution... I'm sorry. Please note that the print version is beautiful and has anything on the image itself!Some days ago ~Amalthee talked about the upcoming Nightwish album on my forum. It reminded me how much Nightwish's music has influenced me, in many domains. This image is a kind of tribute to Nightwish and to one of their best song, "Passion and the Opera". I also wanted to work on ~ladymorgana 's face, for I have always thought that she has a gorgeous and noble face, as though she had be a queen in another life. Concerning the background, it's a stock from ~antipodean-stock which I adore, because it looks very similar to a nightmare I made long ago. The star brushes come from *aleksandra and ~ trulysarah . The rays of light are made with Photoshop and no brush.
This deviation reminds me of *nightfaery 's graphic universe, which I really worship and respect.

I've told some of them about the rights of autors, how they feel when see their work ripped and all those things. But they don't mind! They just want to put a good pic in their flog/blog/layoutshop...
Nowadays, with all those programes whatever you do to protect your work is in vain... They always get what they want
The model is very beautiful and the background too. Her eye is lovely.
The colors/lights/shadows are great too.
Nightwish is a band i appreciat very much. They're one of the three bands that have influenced and marked me (still do it)

true, true... except for one scary fact. i was taught photo manipulation and editing in college. i know how the make the image have better resolution and to remove the watermark without hurting the image... but like i said earlier, i respect u as an artist and will not do that... also, i am so very lazy when it comes to my own work... eh... christmas is coming, maybe i can buy it then! merry christmas to me!!! oooo... i am such a goober!

nah, i don't do photo manipulations anymore unless it's on stuff that i drew or took a picture of... or comstock! i do use the comstock archive i had from college... 
also, i know that it would really upset me if some one would doctor up my image for themselves. it even bothers me a bit when people go through my art notebook and draw from it

Beautiful, absolutely stunning. Just like Nightwish. I'm actually listening to their Oceanborn album as I speak. What a coincidence.
I love how you've used only shades of grey as well as black. It creates a very dark, but elegant atmosphere. Almost dangerous too. I love her eyes.

its really too bad that someone as talented as yourself has to watermark their work... i was gonna use this as my desktop... its remarkable... but the lowered quality and watermark turned me off

Yes indeed, it really hurts to have to do this. But as some people are not clever enough to create by themselves and to steal other people, I have no other choice. I'm sorry about the low res, but I can't take risks submitting it with a better resolution. Someone has already sold one of my work without my authorization, I don't want it to happen again.

Très, très belle atmosphère ... Les tons mauves donnent une chaleur toute particulière, comme une brulure par un froid intense ... Comme la passion ....
J'aurais aimé voir une sortie sur ce couloir, une ouverture, une alternative ...
