Description The silence of your last words echoes in my head...

Photograph taken in Paris, Père-Lachaise graveyard, in July 2001.
It is quite famous because this statue is featured in the Cradle of Filth's "V empire" booklet.

When my girlfriend showed me this image, I was under the shock... Our images are almost similar, very resembling! But with some degrees of differences..

hehehe yeah that's true, look in V empire's booklet and you'll see that's exactly the same statue! at the beginning when I got the CD I hadn't a clue where this fucking statue came from lol, and when I go to the Pere Lachaise, it really struck me!!! I have many other pics from this one, if you're interested. I've got one with this statue and ... me

no they aren't in my gallery for the instant. I have to scan them, and so on...
sure that european graveyards are pretty interesting for they're always very historical. whenever you come to France, tell me and we could meet in Pairs! I will show you the parisian graveyards, that I know well!

donde nadie me veía, y tampoco notaban mi respiración
mi silencio
mis alas están casi caídas
apunto de desvanecerse
mis lagrimas congeladas llenas de sangre
sangre envenenada
y apunto de tener libertad

You have the best quotes ever to go along with your art pieces, in your description.

"The silence of your last words echoes in my head...'
The way the statue is posed indeed represents the quote you put. Have the hands positioned like that, on her face, seems like she's struggling. Let's just say, those words are still echoing. It's forever echoing... she cannot move, she's forever still. And as the words echo, she's cannot speak. Only listening... listening for the loss... Heh.

Well done, yet again.

do you know roland barthes? i think you do...he was french...
so...in his books, he talk aout "unctum" and "studium"...
and the punctum is the think that catches us...something very subjective...
so...i cant look at the statue...i need to stare the "Famile lema..."
what is the last name of the family?
