did you know that dromeosaurids are the ancestors to modern day birds? Archaeopteryx name means“first bird” or “first feather”. it was not the first dinosaur to have feathers, but it was the first one to glide,
the stepping stones to adapting wings and lightweight bodies to fly and evolve into modern day birds. this
isnt an archaeopteryx, just an idea of what a blue jay would look like if it were closer to its ancestors : )
