AND IT'S SOO GOOOD!!! I love it so much >w<
still need to listen to 60+ episodes to get caught up though

also I should be working on my summer reading project a lot more TT^TT
but I have a strange feeling that I'm putting too much effort into the quality of it??
I don't know why, but I feel like everyone else will have 2-3 pages of writing while I'll have 7-8
just a random thought I have~

Aha I've been doing my English summer assignment and you're supposed to print, annotate, and do background research on 5 articles ^^ watch everyone have normal 4-5 page ones and I have one with 20 pages rip

but honestly, if you have to do all that how could you possibly only have 5 pages!!?
mine isn't as much, it's just reading a book, picking 15+ quotes from the book and then
analyzing them..problem is I don't understand what type of quotes that want me to choose.
so my solution is to do 20-25 quotes so if I pick bad ones it'll still be fine ;;w;;

Aha yea ^^ I found a few articles that were 4-5 pages long but I ended up printing an article that had 20 so I had to do a lot of annotating ;;
Maybe they want quotes that show characterization (tell about a character's personality) or show that the plot has moved along (like if something big happens that changes the story)?

yeah.. they did give me a few categories and those were included...
it's just that character and plot are the two things that I'm the worse
at analyzing/finding evidence for. I understand what's going on and
what a character's purpose is, I just can't pinpoint descriptions that
reveal those things QvQ

Aha yea the first one was about sexism and how males don't like it when females are better than them at videogames It was really long though but it was interesting! The next few I did weren't very interesting though ;;
Ohh like if a character shows affection (i.e. if they worry about someone) it shows that they're caring (and if they weren't like that before you can show that they changed; I think teachers like when you can identify dynamic characters?) and if for example an important character dies/the characters go to a different place then it shows the plot has moved forward and the story is changing?? Those are kind of generic descriptions though bc idk what book you're reading~

For my summer reading I had to read "Night" by Elie Wiesel; it's about the Holocaust and I had to note down all my thoughts but there was a lot of horrifying stuff going on aghh >< It was really short though and was actually the easier part of my summer assignment ;;

Mhm ;; so many times I thought he would be separated from his father but it happened at the VERY end of the book when he got rescued >< and a lot of times he was reflecting on what he could/should have done that would have allowed him to escape all the terrible things that happened to him ;;

yeah.. there were so many options and opportunities that he didn't know
about until they passed ;; in my class, we even watched a video where he
went back to Auschwitz to film for Oprah's bookclub, and he talked about
his time there while waking around the place... in a way, reading a book
made it seem sort of fake, like it was just another piece of fiction?
but I knew that what happened was real and had happened to the author,
it was just so terrifying I still can't imagine stuff like the holocaust actually
happening to real people..it's so hard to comprehend ;;

ah I don't really know what ap seminar is...but I did look it up and it seems super hard ;v;
just wondering, what would happen if you didn't pass it..and then didn't pass it again next year?
would you not be able to get the ap capstone thing? and would you get credit for the classes at all? ;;
yeah..and then in another class I took, we went even further into the Holocaust and the causes,
as well as the Armenian Genocide ;; they were so similar, it was really scary to think about.

Haha I didn't know what it was until this year ^^' yea, you have to pass the class and do fairly well on the AP exam or you won't get the AP credit; it's strict because it's an AP class (I think u have to pay to take it bc it'll be college credit and it's definitely cheaper than taking it in college) ;;
Ahh really? What class was that?? I think we might go over the Holocaust (and idk what the Armenian Genocide is yet aghh) next year in AP Euro bc it's all been US history and generic world history so far so I literally know next to nothing about Europe.

yea, it was in a class called 'Gifted'...it's sort of like an extra education thing?
The best way I can think of to explain it is that when parents think their child is smart they ask the school
if they can test you for your IQ, and if it's high enough (like 135?) you are now in 'Gifted' and they teach you
stuff that you don't really learn in your other classes. This year we learned about philosophy and psychology,
but only really basic stuff. It took up one of my electives spots, but high school doesn't have it as a class, which
I'm partially happy about since I can do other classes ^^
ooh AP Euro sounds super interesting, hopefully I can take it sometime next year! My older sister wanted to
take a whole class on the Holocaust, though my parents didn't let her take it since there were other classes to take.
Maybe they have something like that where you are?

Ohh that's really cool; when I was in elementary school I took a test to get into the Gifted & Talented program at another school! I'm not sure how diff the curriculum was tho bc there wasn't any extra class material ^^'

mm I guess it depends on where you are for what they teach ;;
my sister is going into 11th grade next year! I have another sister, but she's younger than me and going into 2nd grade ^^
oh..well it's good that there's at least a class on Europe! but you should check, you never know ^^~
I actually found the course registration form, and there's 7 social studies electives,
though that includes psychology, research 1 (I don't know what that is ;v; ), and sociology.
I'm actually taking an social study elective next year! It's called AP Human Geography..
and I'm mainly taking it because it's the only AP class available to freshmen..and all
the people who were in my classes were planning to take it too Q w Q
