Description
Needed to wind down after months of work marathons so I did a semi quick and relaxed painting. Inspired by a recent re-read of CJ Cherryh's Morgaine Saga. Β I imagined her mostly in tattered silver and grays in the book and not as soft so I took some heavy liberties due to my current mood.Painter 2015

really beautiful. I couldn't get past this for a while, couldn't stop looking at it. There is such a grace in the armor design, and the rings... the rings. I have no idea how you came up with the idea, nor how you pulled it off... but it's so unique and works so well... adds such interest. Β Combine that with the color palette and you've got a really nice piece.

Yeah!!! I had to read a lot of stuff that was bad for me and my worldview before I finally got back to the best women SF writers. I read The Left Hand of Darkness recently and was like "holy crap, why did I not read this 10 years ago?"
