I viewed this deviation before, and it reminded me of something. Now, I remember! It looks like a Neuropa Combot from Metal Fatigue. just modify the gun, and the feet a little, and its almost an exact duplicate!

The legs look too close together.
He appears to be hovering because of the shadow on the ground.
His right leg appears to be slightly longer than the left leg.
I would say give the legs some breathing room to give the pose a little more action feel and make sure your proportions are correct for the perspective.
